  • Category: Dessert

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cans of Grand’s cinnamon rolls
  • 2 cups of about 2 small apples (peeled and chopped (Honey Crisp or Granny Smith))
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Reserved icing
  • Optional: vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters, saving the icing.
  2. Butter the slow cooker or use non-stick spray. Place half of the cinnamon rolls at the bottom.
  3. Add the chopped apples and top with the remaining cinnamon roll pieces.
  4. In a large measuring cup, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Pour this custard over the cinnamon rolls. Add the condensed milk.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours until the custard is set and the rolls are golden brown on top.
  6. Once done, drizzle with the reserved icing. Serve warm and add a scoop of ice cream if you like!

Notes

Note: To prevent burning, consider lining the bottom of the slow cooker with aluminum foil or parchment paper, as cooking times may vary.
