Pizza Roses
Ingredients
- 1 tube 8 oz. crescent dough
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 4 oz. large pepperoni slices halved
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a muffin tin with cooking spray.
- On a lightly floured surface, unroll the crescent dough and divide it into 4 rectangles. If the dough has perforated edges, pinch them together to seal.
- Using a pizza cutter, slice each rectangle of dough lengthwise into three 1-inch-wide strips. Spread a very thin layer of sauce onto each strip. Sprinkle with cheeses, then layer pepperoni halves on the top half of each strip so they overlap slightly and the tops of the pepperoni slices are off the pastry. Fold up the bottom half of the dough and tightly roll.
- Transfer the rolled dough to the prepared muffin tin and bake until golden, about 10-15 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
