Peanut Butter Rice Krispies With Chocolate Peanut Butter Topping

Ingredients
#### Rice Krispies:
- – 16 oz marshmallows
- – 6 cups Rice Krispies
- – 5 tablespoons butter
- – 1 tablespoon vanilla
- – 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- – 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt 1/2 if using Morton
#### Chocolate Topping:
- – 6 oz chocolate chips
- – 1/4 cup peanut butter
- – 3 tablespoons salted butter
#### Peanut Butter Swirl:
- – 2 tablespoons peanut butter melted
#### Optional:
- – Flaky salt for topping
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13-inch pan with baking spray and set aside.
- In a large non-stick saucepan, melt butter over medium heat until melted or slightly golden and fragrant if browning.
- Add marshmallows and peanut butter, stirring until completely melted. Remove from heat.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, then stir in the cereal until fully coated.
- Pour the mixture into the greased 9×13-inch pan. Use a large piece of wax paper to press down the Rice Krispies into an even layer.
#### Chocolate Peanut Butter Layer:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave on high, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter Rice Krispies.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of peanut butter in the microwave for a few seconds until melted. Dot about 12 evenly spaced spots across the top. Use a toothpick to swirl the peanut butter into the chocolate.
- Let the topping set until firm, then slice and enjoy!
