Introducing a breakfast game-changer: Paratha Pockets! These are like pizza pockets but packed with all your breakfast favorites, snugly wrapped in a crispy, flaky paratha. Trust me, once you try them, you won’t want anything else for breakfast!

THE BACON

Let’s talk about beef bacon! Heat a frying pan over medium heat on the stove. No need for oil since beef bacon has enough fat. Lay the slices in the pan in a single layer, making sure not to crowd them. Let them cook undisturbed until they’re brown and crispy. Depending on thickness, this might take a bit. Flip them over and cook until crispy on both sides. Want a touch of sweetness? Sprinkle some brown sugar while cooking. Once done, drain on paper towels. You can also bake or air fry if you prefer turkey bacon!

THE EGGS

For the eggs, crack them into a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Whisk well. Heat a non-stick pan over low heat with a bit of oil or butter. Pour in the eggs, ensuring they spread evenly. Stir slowly in circular motions as they cook for a creamy texture. Cook low and slow to avoid rubbery eggs. Once done, set aside until ready to use.

Ingredients

  • 4 parathas
  • 4 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Avocado or olive oil
  • Cheese slices
  • Cooked beef or turkey bacon

Instructions

  • Whisk eggs with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan over low heat. Pour in eggs, stir slowly until set, then set aside.
  • Fry bacon until crispy, adding brown sugar for sweetness if desired. Remove from pan.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat. Add a bit of oil.
  • Place a paratha in the pan. Add eggs, cheese, and bacon in the center.
  • Cover with another paratha and press edges to seal.
  • Cook until golden and crispy, then flip and cook the other side.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and let it cook through.
  • Remove from heat, cut in half, and enjoy warm!
