Paleo Apple No-Cider Donuts
Ingredients
- 2 cups almond flour
- 2 tbsp coconut flour
- 1/4 cup full-fat coconut milk
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 pasture-raised organic eggs
- 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 2 tbsp Primal Palate Apple Pie Spice or 1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp ginger
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Grease a silicone donut pan with avocado or coconut oil spray and set it aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
- Melt the coconut oil.
- In another bowl, combine the melted coconut oil with the rest of the wet ingredients, whisking until well blended.
- Pour the wet batter into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined.
- Gently scoop the batter into each donut cavity, filling them almost up to the fill line.
- Use your fingers to even out the donuts.
- Bake for 16-17 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let them sit for 2-3 minutes, then flip the donut pan upside down to easily release the donuts.
- Lightly spray coconut oil on top of each donut and sprinkle with additional cinnamon and/or sugar.
