Oven Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of spaghetti (not cooked)
  • 1 jar of pasta sauce (16 ounces)
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon of salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 5 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 thinly sliced onion
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Combine all the ingredients, except the mozzarella cheese, in a baking dish. Give it a good stir.
  3. Cover the dish and bake for 45 minutes. Remember to stir it about 20-25 minutes in – don’t forget this step!
  4. Once it’s out of the oven, sprinkle the top with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake it uncovered for an extra 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is nice and bubbly!
