Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup creamy tahini
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup non-dairy chocolate chips
  • Flaky sea salt (for sprinkling on top)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the tahini and eggs until the mixture thickens.
  3. Switch to a spatula and fold in the coconut sugar, vanilla extract, cacao powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Lastly, fold in the chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
  6. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt, cut into bars, and enjoy!

Notes

  • For the best results, use creamy, all-natural tahini for added moisture.
  • Line your baking dish with parchment paper to prevent any sticking.
  • While I used a ceramic baking dish, you can also use a loaf pan or an 8×8 baking dish.
