Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax
  • 3/4 cup almond butter (or any other nut or seed butter)
  • 24 tablespoons maple syrup (or substitute honey, agave, or date syrup, depending on desired sweetness)
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix oat flour, cacao powder, and ground flax.
  2. Add almond butter and maple syrup, then mix until well combined.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips, ensuring even distribution.
  4. Use a cookie scoop to form batter into balls, then roll them with the palm of your hands.
  5. Place the balls on a plate lined with parchment paper, and chill in the fridge until firm or enjoy right away.

Notes

  • Start by combining dry ingredients first, then add in wet.
  • If mixture is too dry and crumbly, add in more seed butter and maple syrup.
  • Measure your dry ingredients by scooping them out with a spoon rather than dipping the entire measuring cup into the container. This way you ensure you are getting the correct amount.
  • Use your hands to really incorporate the ingredients if needed.
  • Add more chocolate chips on top if desired.
