Ingredients

Scale
  • 4.5 cups quick-cooking oats (gluten-free if you prefer)
  • 1 cup all-natural creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 cup M&M’s
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together oats, peanut butter, maple syrup, melted butter, eggs, brown sugar, and baking soda until well combined. The mixture should resemble thick cookie dough.
  3. Add in the M&M’s and chocolate chips, and mix again until they are evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer the dough into the prepared baking dish and press it firmly using a wooden spoon or your hands.
  5. Bake at 350ºF for about 17-20 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the bars feel firm to the touch.
  6. Allow the monster bars to cool for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before slicing and serving.
