Description

A silky, savory Boursin dip finished with a hit of spicy-sweet honey. Perfect hot from the oven for spreading, dunking, or spooning over warm bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin Cheese, Garlic & Fine Herbs
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp hot honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Cracked black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) so it’s fully up to temperature while you mix the dip.
  2. In a bowl, stir together the Boursin, cream cheese, and shredded mozzarella until you have a smooth, even mixture. Add 1 tablespoon of the hot honey and blend it in.
  3. Rub a small baking dish with the olive oil, then spoon the cheese mixture into the dish and level the surface.
  4. Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of hot honey across the top, sprinkle with the chopped thyme and, if using, the red pepper flakes. Add a pinch of salt and a grind or two of black pepper.
  5. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until the edges are bubbling and the top turns light golden.
  6. Remove from the oven, crack a little extra black pepper over the surface, and—if you like—finish with an additional honey drizzle.
  7. Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or crisp veggie sticks.

Notes

  • Let the cheeses sit at room temperature for easier mixing and a smoother bake.
  • For the best contrast, toast your dippers until crisp.
  • If your hot honey is very viscous, warm it briefly so it pours and drizzles easily.
