Healthy Vegan Snickers Protein Bars
Only 6 ingredients needed to make these healthier high-protein Snickers Bars! 🥜 A nougat-style base with a nutty, gooey caramel center and a creamy white chocolate topping.
Ingredients
For the Base:
- ½ cup vegan vanilla protein powder
- ¼ cup oat flour use gluten-free if needed
- 6 tbsp smooth peanut butter
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 4 tbsp dairy-free milk
For the Filling:
- ¾ cup peanut butter
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
For the Topping:
- 7 oz dairy-free white chocolate
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
Prepare the Base:
- In a bowl, mix together the vegan protein powder and oat flour.
- Gradually add in the peanut butter, maple syrup, and dairy-free milk until a dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into a lined loaf pan.
Make the Caramel Filling:
- In a separate bowl, combine the peanut butter, maple syrup, and melted coconut oil until smooth.
- Pour this caramel mixture over the base, and sprinkle with peanuts if desired.
Add the Topping:
- Melt the dairy-free white chocolate with the coconut oil until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer.
Set the Bars:
- Place the loaf pan in the fridge to set until firm.
