Copycat Ghirardelli Brownies
Servings 12
Ingredients
- 1 cup melted salted butter
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Ghirardelli cocoa powder
- 8 oz Ghirardelli Bittersweet Baking Bar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 12×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a big bowl, mix together the melted butter, oil, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Whisk it all together. Add vanilla and eggs, beat for 30 seconds until the batter gets a lighter brown.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix lightly until just combined.
- Chop the chocolate and add about ¾ of it (around 1 ½ bars or 6 oz) to the mix. Gently fold in the chocolate.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chunks on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the center doesn’t jiggle. For fudgy brownies, don’t over bake! If you like them cakey, bake for 5-8 minutes longer.
- Take them out of the oven and let them cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting into them! Enjoy your delicious homemade brownies!
