Ingredients
- 1 cup melted salted butter
- 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
- ¾ cup light brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs at room temperature
- 1 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups chopped Oreos
- 1 ½ cups chopped Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Cream candy bars
Optional Garnish (because why not!):
- 1 cup chopped Oreos
- 1 cup chopped Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Cream candy bars
Instructions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, blend together the melted butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs and mix until well incorporated.
- Incorporate the flour, cornstarch, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt into the mixture, ensuring everything is well combined.
- Pause here to relish the delightful aroma!
- Remove the bowl from the stand and gently fold in the chopped Oreos and Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Cream candy bars using a rubber spatula.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and use a medium-sized cookie dough scoop (around 2-2.5 tablespoons of dough) to form 20 evenly sized cookies. Pop the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to let the dough chill, enhancing the flavor and preventing excessive spreading.
- Time to preheat the oven to 350°F!
- Once the dough has chilled, place the cookies about 2 inches apart on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake for 9-10 minutes, or until the edges are just set.
