Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread

Ingredients

**For the crumble topping:**

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp light brown sugar

**For the banana bread:**

  • 3 large ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

**For the cinnamon sugar swirl:**

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

**For the crumble:**

  • In a large food processor, blend all crumble ingredients until small balls form. Refrigerate the mixture until needed.

**For the cinnamon sugar swirl:**

  • In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon. Set aside for later.

**For the banana bread:**

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat together butter, oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and bananas.
  • Add eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix until just combined.
  • Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until all dry ingredients are incorporated.

**For assembly:**

  • Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Sprinkle all the cinnamon sugar on top.
  • Top with the remaining batter and sprinkle the crumble on top.
  • Bake for 1 hour or until completely cooked through.
  • Allow it to cool for at least 20 minutes before removing from the pan.
