Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg at room temperature
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 cup Christmas-colored nonpareils
- 48 Hershey Kisses
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, and vanilla until it’s light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- While the mixer is running on low speed, add in the egg and milk. Gradually add the flour mixture until just combined.
- Use a small cookie dough scoop to make 24 even dough balls. Roll each ball in the Christmas-colored nonpareils.
- Place each cookie about 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-9 minutes, or until the edges are just set.
- Remove from the oven and gently press a Hershey Kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Let the cookies cool for 2 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
