Description

These cheesy garlic chicken wraps are warm, crispy, and packed with savory flavor. Tender chicken gets tossed with garlic, herbs, and melty cheese, then folded into golden tortillas for an easy meal or snack that tastes seriously comforting.

For the filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, optional for a richer, creamier filling
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley or chives, for topping

For the wraps

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or olive oil, for crisping


Instructions

  1. Warm the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook just until it smells fragrant.
  2. Stir in the chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and let everything coat evenly in the pan.
  3. Add the cheese and cream cheese, if using, then stir until the filling turns creamy and melty. Take it off the heat.
  4. Divide the mixture among the tortillas, placing it on one side of each one. Fold them over to form half-moons.
  5. Lightly brush the outside of each wrap with butter or oil.
  6. Cook in a skillet or panini press until the tortillas turn crisp and golden on both sides.
  7. Slice while warm and finish with fresh herbs on top.
