Description

A super-easy, crowd-pleasing finger food — thin salami slices filled with a creamy spread and a hit of tangy pepperoncini. Perfect for parties, game day, or anytime you need a quick appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 18 thin slices of salami
  • 18 pepperoncini rings, well-drained (add extra if you like more tang)


Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese until it spreads easily. Drain the pepperoncini well and pat dry so the rolls don’t get soggy.
  2. Lay one salami slice flat. Using about 1½ teaspoons of cream cheese, spread a thin layer across the center of the salami, leaving a small border at the edges.
  3. Place one to three pepperoncini rings on top of the cream cheese, depending on how much zip you want.
  4. Tightly roll the salami around the filling and push a toothpick through the center to hold it together.
  5. Repeat with the remaining salami, cream cheese, and peppers until you’ve made all the pinwheels.
  6. Arrange on a platter and serve right away.

Notes

Quick tip: For a milder bite, rinse the pepperoncini before using; for more heat, add an extra ring or swap in a jalapeño.
