Description
A super-easy, crowd-pleasing finger food — thin salami slices filled with a creamy spread and a hit of tangy pepperoncini. Perfect for parties, game day, or anytime you need a quick appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 18 thin slices of salami
- 18 pepperoncini rings, well-drained (add extra if you like more tang)
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese until it spreads easily. Drain the pepperoncini well and pat dry so the rolls don’t get soggy.
- Lay one salami slice flat. Using about 1½ teaspoons of cream cheese, spread a thin layer across the center of the salami, leaving a small border at the edges.
- Place one to three pepperoncini rings on top of the cream cheese, depending on how much zip you want.
- Tightly roll the salami around the filling and push a toothpick through the center to hold it together.
- Repeat with the remaining salami, cream cheese, and peppers until you’ve made all the pinwheels.
- Arrange on a platter and serve right away.
Notes
Quick tip: For a milder bite, rinse the pepperoncini before using; for more heat, add an extra ring or swap in a jalapeño.
