- 2 6-ounce packages of purple Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water (divided)
- 2 cups vodka (divided)
- Black food coloring
- Lime wedge (for rimming)
- Black sanding sugar (for rimming)
Instructions
- Step 1: Whisk one package of purple Jell-O with 1 cup of boiling water until fully dissolved. Stir in vodka and fill shot cups halfway. Chill in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours until firm.
- Step 2: Once the shots are nearly set, prepare the second layer by whisking the remaining purple Jell-O with 1 cup of boiling water until dissolved. Mix in vodka and black food coloring.
- Step 3: Pour the black Jell-O mix over each shot and return to the fridge for another 2 to 3 hours until firm.
- Step 4: Once set, rim each shot glass with lime and dip in black sanding sugar for a spooky finishing touch!
