Get ready for your Halloween party with these spooky two-layered shots, one purple and one black, that’ll add some frightful fun to your celebration! While making these Jell-O shots is a breeze, achieving the two-layer effect requires some patience. After pouring in the purple Jell-O mix, give it a good 2-hour chill in the fridge. Then, add the black layer and let it set for another 2 hours. So, remember, time is key here—these shots aren’t for last-minute party planning!

To ensure the purple layer is set before adding the black layer, do a quick test: gently turn a shot glass upside down—if the Jell-O stays put, you’re good to go! If it’s still wobbly, give it an extra 30 minutes.
