Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 8 8-inch flour tortillas
  • Avocado oil or olive oil for spraying

Instructions

  • Season the beef by mixing ground beef, finely chopped red onion, salt, black pepper, allspice, and chopped parsley in a bowl until well combined.
  • Heat the tortillas slightly in a microwave or dry skillet to make them pliable.
  • Take one tortilla, slice it in half to create two semi-circles, and place 2-3 tablespoons of the seasoned beef mixture on one half.
  • Fold the tortilla in half over the beef mixture to create a half-moon shape, then roll it tightly to form a cone shape. Secure the end with a toothpick if needed. Repeat for the remaining tortillas.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the tortilla cones with avocado oil or brush them with olive oil.
  • Place the tortilla cones in the air fryer basket or on a baking sheet, ensuring they’re not overcrowded. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy, turning them halfway through for even cooking.
