Banana Bread Oatmeal

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups regular oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups your favorite milk
  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease an 11×7 non-stick baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Put all the ingredients (except the chocolate chips) into the prepared baking dish – mashed bananas, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix them well. Sprinkle the dark chocolate chips on top.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the oatmeal is set and has a golden brown top.
  5. Slice it up and serve with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
