  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar optional
  • 1/4 cup adobo sauce
  • 2 to 3 chipotle peppers use 3 for extra spiciness
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 4 to 5 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Ranch dressing for dipping
  • Finely chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  • Line a baking tray or rack with Reynolds Wrap® Non-Stick Foil, ensuring the dull side is facing up and the shiny side is down. Set it aside.
  • Let’s make the honey chipotle sauce! Blend together the adobo sauce, chipotle peppers, lime juice, garlic cloves, honey, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Transfer the sauce to a bowl and set it aside.
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. In a bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and brown sugar if using. Ensure the wings are evenly seasoned.
  • Transfer the seasoned wings to the prepared baking tray or rack.
  • Bake the wings for 20 minutes, then flip them over and bake for another 20 minutes. Take them out of the oven and generously coat them with the honey chipotle sauce. Put them back in the oven for an additional 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the size of the wings.
  • Once fully cooked, transfer the wings to a plate and garnish them with chopped cilantro.

Notes

  • Keep an eye on the wings as cooking times may vary based on their size.
  • Make sure to thoroughly dry the wings before seasoning to achieve that crispy skin. Moisture is the enemy of crispiness, so pat them dry with a paper towel. Enjoy your flavorful wings!
