Homemade Garlic Bread with Spinach and Artichokes

Ingredients

  • 1 block of cream cheese
  • 8 tablespoons of unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup of shredded parmesan cheese
  • 10 ounces of thawed frozen spinach
  • 15 ounces of artichoke hearts chopped and drained
  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 3/4 teaspoon of black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, butter, mayonnaise, garlic, drained spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, both shredded cheeses, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Cut the French bread in half lengthwise.
  • Spread the spinach and artichoke filling generously on each half.
  • Place the loaded bread on a foil-lined baking sheet (easy clean-up!) or a greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is beautifully bubbly.
