  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 45 minutes
  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 8 1x
  • Category: Dessert

Ingredients

  • – 4 cups frozen blueberries
  • – 1 box gluten-free yellow cake mix (can substitute regular)
  • – 1 cup grass-fed butter (can substitute dairy-free)
  • – Vanilla ice cream (optional but highly recommended)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium bowl, then mix in the cake mix until you have a thick batter.
  3. Add frozen blueberries to a baking dish, then drop the cake batter on top and spread evenly.
  4. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  5. Allow to cool for 10 minutes and enjoy with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

  • Use frozen blueberries for a more budget-friendly option.
  • Drop the cobbler batter over the blueberries in sections before spreading it evenly.
  • If using a deep dish like a pie dish, baking time may be longer. For a standard 9×13 or other shallow dish, bake for about 45 minutes.
  • The cobbler is done when the center is set and firm to the touch.
