Cheesy Souffle

Ingredients

  • - 1 tbsp butter
  • - 1 tbsp sugar for coating ramekins
  • - 4 eggs
  • - 2 tsp sugar
  • - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • - Dash of salt
  • - 4 oz cream cheese
  • - 2/3 cup shredded cheese cheddar or jack

Instructions

**Step 1:**

  • - Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • - Prep the soufflé ramekins by coating the sides and bottom with butter, then sprinkle with sugar to prevent sticking.

**Step 2:**

  • - Separate the egg yolks and whites into two bowls.
  • - In the bowl with egg yolks, add 2 tsp sugar, flour, salt, cream cheese, and shredded cheese. Mix well and set aside.
  • - In the bowl with egg whites, use a standing mixer or a hand whisk to beat the whites until stiff peaks form.
  • - Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture.
  • - Pour the batter into the ramekins, filling them to the top.

**Step 3:**

  • - Bake for 12 minutes, or until the soufflés have risen and are golden brown.
  • - Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Enjoy your light and fluffy soufflés!
