Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. In a medium bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter. You can do this in the microwave, heating in 2-3 intervals of 30 seconds each. If you don’t have a microwave, you can use the double boiler method on the stove.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla, salt, sugar, and cacao powder until smooth. It might be thick at first, but keep whisking until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the bowl with the egg mixture, and stir until everything is well combined.
Grease 4, 4-inch ramekins with oil spray or melted butter. Divide the chocolate batter evenly among the ramekins.
Bake for 25-27 minutes, or until the middle is set. Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for a bit.
Serve each cake with a scoop of ice cream on top, sprinkle with shaved chocolate, and ENJOY!
