Maple Sea Salt Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups milk any kind, such as unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 ounce dark chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup or more to taste
  • Pinch of Himalayan sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Pour almond milk into a small saucepan and heat over medium to high heat.
  • Once warmed, add dark chocolate, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and a pinch of sea salt.
  • Use a whisk or handheld milk frother to mix until the cocoa powder is fully dissolved and well combined.
  • Keep heating and whisking the hot chocolate over medium to high heat until it's hot but not boiling. Make sure the dark chocolate melts and blends smoothly with the milk.
  • Once the hot chocolate is ready and steaming, serve it with your favorite whipped cream topping and savor every sip!
