Ingredients

of strawberries
diced finely
1/4 to 1/3

of granulated sugar

of half & half
oat milk, or whole milk
2 to 3
teaspoons
of matcha powder
1
cup
of warm water

of vanilla syrup

Instructions
Combine the diced strawberries with the white sugar in a bowl. Let them sit for 30 minutes to macerate.
Boil water and whisk matcha powder with 2 tablespoons of water until smooth. Add the rest of the water and chill in the fridge for a few minutes.
In a cup, add a few tablespoons of macerated strawberries, then fill with lots of ice.
Pour in the half and half until the cup is two-thirds full.
Slowly add the chilled matcha on top.
Stir with a straw and enjoy your homemade Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte!
Notes
Mash the strawberries a bit with a fork after macerating to make it easier to sip through a straw, or blend them for a smoother texture.
Adjust the sweetness of the strawberries and matcha according to your taste preference.
This recipe yields about 2 drinks.
Store any leftover macerated strawberries in an airtight container in the fridge.
Customize the sweetness of the matcha with vanilla syrup, maple syrup, or simple syrup to your liking.
