Ingredients

#### For the Rice Krispies:

  • 1 cup of unsalted butter
  • 21 oz of mini marshmallows equivalent to 2 bags, each 10.5 ounces
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 8 cups of Rice Krispies
  • 20 Oreos roughly chopped (about 2 cups)

#### Topping:

  • ½ cup of white chocolate chips
  • 8 Oreos roughly chopped (about 1 cup)

Instructions

#### For the Rice Krispies:

  • Line a 9×13 pan with parchment paper, lightly mist with nonstick cooking spray, and set it aside.
  • In a large pot, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter. Stir continuously until the butter just starts to brown. Remove it from heat immediately to prevent burning.
  • Quickly stir in the vanilla extract; the mixture will bubble up, so keep stirring for an additional thirty seconds until the sizzling subsides. Add salt.
  • Mix in half of the marshmallows and stir until almost completely melted before adding the remaining marshmallows. Stir until all marshmallows are entirely melted.
  • Add the Rice Krispies 2 cups at a time, lightly stirring until combined. Continue until all the Rice Krispies are evenly mixed. Fold in 2 cups of roughly chopped Oreos using a spatula.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared 9×13 pan. Lightly wet your hands and gently press the mixture into the pan without crushing it.

#### For the Topping:

  • In a heatproof bowl, add ½ cup of white chocolate chips. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring with a clean metal spoon in between, until completely melted.
  • Once melted, set the white chocolate aside for 3 minutes to cool down to room temperature.
  • Drizzle the white chocolate onto the treats using a spoon. Immediately sprinkle 1 cup of roughly chopped Oreos on top.
  • Cut into pieces and enjoy your delightful White Chocolate Oreo Rice Krispies!
