  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder plus extra for topping
  • 1/2 cup oat milk
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal + 2.5 tablespoons water
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 ounces brewed espresso
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1 container 5 ounces nondairy yogurt


  • Start by combining oats, cocoa powder, salt, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Then, mix in the flaxseed egg, applesauce, maple syrup, vanilla extract, oat milk, and espresso. Stir the ingredients well, and transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish. Bake for 25-35 minutes at 350°F. After baking, spread a thin layer of nondairy yogurt on top and dust it with cocoa powder.
