Here’s what you need:

Single-Serving Cinnamon Roll

Course Dessert

Ingredients

For the cinnamon roll:

  • 1/2 banana mashed until smooth
  • 1/2 cup self-rising flour
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt of your choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

For the filling:

  • 1 tablespoon butter or vegan butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

For the icing:

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon water

Instructions

  • Start by mashing the banana until it’s smooth like a puree. Then, add in the flour, yogurt, and vanilla. If the dough is too sticky, gradually add more flour until it forms a ball. Transfer the dough to a floured surface.
  • Use a rolling pin to gently roll out the dough. Be careful not to press too hard.
  • Prepare the filling by mixing together the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread this mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  • Cut the dough into two strips, then carefully roll each strip into a spiral shape.
  • Place the rolled dough into a greased ramekin or mug.
  • Bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes until the cinnamon roll is golden brown.
  • While it’s baking, mix together the powdered sugar and water to make the icing.
  • Once the cinnamon roll is done baking, drizzle the icing over the top.
  • Now, it’s time to enjoy your delicious single-serving cinnamon roll!
