Hey friends, you know what I love? Recipes that bring back childhood memories but taste even better. Sure, I enjoy making the classics, but sometimes there’s a faster, healthier, and yummier way to do it. And guess what? This recipe is one of those winners!

Back in the day, I couldn’t get enough of those classic Magic Bars. They’re like a flavor explosion, right? But making them? Oh boy, it’s a time-consuming task with all those layers. Let’s be real, who has time for that hustle?

But guess what? These cookies are here to save the day! They’ve got all the flavors and textures you love from Magic Bars, but without the long wait. As they bake, that condensed milk does its magic, giving them that perfect chewy-crunchy combo. And if you’ve never tried making Magic Bars, start here. You won’t regret it!

Here’s what you’ll need:

Magic Cookies

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes
Course Dessert
Servings 8

  • 1 1/2 cups Cashews
  • 1 1/2 cups Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
  • 3/4 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 3-4 Graham Crackers crushed
  • 3/4 can Coconut Condensed Milk about 11-12 ounces – Regular condensed milk works too!

  • To whip up these magic cookies, preheat your oven to 350°F. Then, toss all the ingredients into a big bowl—cashews, coconut flakes, chocolate chips, crushed graham crackers, and that coconut condensed milk. Mix until everything’s well coated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto it. Give ’em space because that condensed milk will make ’em spread. Pop ’em in the oven for 15-16 minutes until they’re golden brown.
  • Once they’re done, let them cool for about 10 minutes so that condensed milk can set. And voila! You’ve got yourself a batch of magical cookies ready to devour. Keep ’em in an airtight container for up to five days and enjoy the nostalgia trip!
