German Chocolate Cake Overnight Oats

Who says you can’t have chocolate cake for breakfast? My German Chocolate Cake Overnight Oats are like having dessert for breakfast, but healthier! They’re gluten-free, paleo-friendly, vegan-friendly, and free from refined sugars. But trust me, they’re still packed with rich, chocolatey goodness that’ll make you feel like you’re indulging in a decadent treat.

When you think of a quick and easy breakfast, what comes to mind? Maybe it’s scrambling eggs or blending a protein-packed smoothie. But for me, the ultimate easy breakfast is one that requires zero effort in the morning and can be prepped ahead of time. Unfortunately, eggs and smoothies don’t fit the bill.

That’s where overnight oats come in! If you’re new to them, think of them as cold oatmeal that you prepare the night before. All you do is mix oats, liquid, and your favorite ingredients in a jar or baking dish, then let it sit in the fridge overnight. By morning, you’ll have a creamy, delicious bowl of oats ready to enjoy!

With just a few minutes of prep, you’ll have breakfast sorted for the whole week. This recipe makes 2-3 servings, but you can easily double it for 4-5 servings, perfect for busy weekday mornings!
