Begin by preparing your cranberries. Rinse and dry them thoroughly. If using frozen cranberries, there's no need to rinse.
In a large pot, combine the cranberries, coconut sugar, orange juice, and water. Heat over medium-high heat until it reaches a boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and add the bourbon, vanilla extract, and cinnamon stick.
Stir everything together well and let it simmer for 20-22 minutes until the cranberry sauce thickens. If you prefer a thicker consistency, let it simmer for an extra minute or two.
Remove the cinnamon stick, give it a final stir, and it's ready to serve!
