Grease a silicone donut pan with avocado or coconut oil spray.

Melt the coconut oil.

Pour the wet batter into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
Carefully spoon the batter into each donut cavity, filling them almost up to the top.
Use your fingers to smooth out the donuts.
Bake for 16-17 minutes.
Allow the donuts to cool for a couple of minutes, then invert the pan to release them.
Let the donuts cool completely before frosting.
For the frosting, melt the chocolate chips, butter, and maple syrup, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Dip each donut in the chocolate frosting and place them on a cooling rack.
