Prepare the hot honey sauce by heating honey, red pepper flakes or chiles, apple cider vinegar, and garlic in a saucepan until gently boiling. Transfer to a jar and let it cool.
Preheat the air fryer to 370-375ºF.
Slice chicken into 1.5-2-inch pieces.
In a food processor, pulse corn flakes, flour, and spices until breadcrumb consistency.
Whisk eggs and water in a bowl. Dredge chicken in egg mixture, then cornflake mixture, repeating for a double coat.
Spray air fryer basket, arrange chicken, drizzle with oil, and air fry for 8 minutes, flipping halfway.
Toss cooked chicken in hot honey sauce, adding more if desired.
Serve alone or with your favorite sides.
