Ingredients

**For the Salted Caramel Sauce:**

Instructions

**For the Salted Caramel Sauce:**

  • Heat sugar in a medium pot over medium heat until it melts and turns golden.
  • Add butter and stir until incorporated.
  • Quickly add cream, vanilla, and salt, and stir until combined.
  • Remove from heat and let cool completely.

**For the Pumpkin Cake:**

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  • Whisk together flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla.
